  They also fell apart! I had 2 copies fall apart after 1 reading, and that's with treating the books very carefully. Anyone else have that happen? I ended up getting a third copy with a library binding in the hope it will stay in one piece.

      Very.
      I have one copy that I've read a couple times now...it's been tossed about, stepped on by dogs, drug to the beach and is still in pretty good shape. I have another copy that I got from Amazon that I haven't taken out of it's box yet so I don't know if it has any missing pages or not.

  No pages missing in mine, but the binding split in the second week, and I treat my books very carefully! Cheap glue, perhaps?

    Yeah, that's exactly what happened to mine. The binding completely separated from the spine in several places.
